Compass Awards for Bath Volunteers

by | Sep 24, 2017

Congratulations to Bev Samways (left) and Sarah Taylor (right), who both received the South West England Compass Award this weekend.

Bev and Sarah were both recognised for their outstanding contribution to local Guiding at a special celebration in Sailsbury, together with volunteers from across the South West. We are extremely proud of them both and hope they had a wonderful afternoon!

The South West England Compass Award is awarded in recognition of the dedication of our members at local level who give freely of their time on a regular basis to provide good quality guiding to the girls in their unit and local area and to the benefit of their local community. This could be maintaining a successful unit or it could be a Guiding activity or project that shows the unique quality that the member brings to local guiding and the community.

If you would like to nominate someone from your unit or District for a Compass Award, please talk to your District Commissioner and visit the Girlguiding South West England Region website for further details.
