District fun for all!

Almost 40 rainbows, brownies, and guides from Bathampton, Bathford, Batheaston, Larkhall and Walcot enjoyed a morning of activities at an event to celebrate girlguiding. Initially planned for Thinking Day but delayed due to Covid they enjoyed designing fashion from recyclable items, experimenting with science, and playingparachute games.

It was great to see the youngest and the oldest members of girlguiding help each other and have fun. The girls shared their fashion designs in mini cat walks and said the highlight of the morning was the Fun Science demonstrator who captured their attention with chemical reactions, a hair-raising demonstration, and the chance to make slime (always a favourite girlguiding activity!)
