Working with young leaders and young volunteers – Online Training
Young volunteers and young leaders can be a great asset to a unit. They are often a source of new ideas and enthusiasm and can bridge the gap between the adult leaders and girls. It is also important that we encourage them and help them make the most of their time volunteering.
In this training, aimed at adult leaders, we will discuss the role of a young leader and the young leader qualification, how you might find young leaders and how to encourage them to take a leadership role and other opportunities available to young leaders. There will be lots of opportunities to discuss and share experiences.
This will be an online training using zoom and further details and link to join the training will be sent out to those who have registered a few days before the event.
