A Night at the Roman Baths

by | Jul 18, 2018

25 Guides from across Somerset North County spent a night at the Roman Baths as part of their Baden Powell Award.

The girls had a tour of the museum and road tested a new guided tour developed by a local history teacher. They watched a film (A Night at the Museum – obviously!) before sleeping over in the museum’s impressive ticket hall – overlooking the Great Bath.

In the morning, the girls completed a exploration challenge around Bath City Centre, before travelling by bus to Bath City Farm to join in with our Girlguiding Family Fun Day.

We hope all the girls enjoyed their adventure in Bath and have a great time celebrating the completion of their Baden Powell Award with their units across the County.
