Museum visits

Bath preservation trust are offering group visits to their museums…

Dear group leader,

We are pleased to offer Guide, Brownies and Rainbows group visits at our Museums in Bath.

Our museums tell a wide range of exciting historical stories for different age groups, and can support Brownies working towards their Local History, Collector and Space badges. Full details of all workshops can be found at: https://www.bath-preservation-trust.org.uk/education/schools/

Herschel Museum of Astronomy: children will explore the house where William and Caroline Herschel lived, learn about their lives and discoveries, and complete a space-themed craft or activity.

No.1 Royal Crescent: children will find out about Georgian life through dressing up and handling historical artefacts, take a tour of the house, and complete a hands on activity such as writing with a quill and ink.

Group visits are offered on weekday evenings for up to 25 children, and last approximately 1.5hrs.

Please email learning@bptrust.org.uk to find out about current availability and costs.

We look forward to welcoming you to our museum soon!
