We’re looking for a few extra volunteers to join the shop team. This could either be on a regular basis (e.g. once a month) or on an as and when basis when needed. You don’t need any particular experience or to be a member of Girlguiding. Without additional volunteers we may need to look at reducing the opening times of the shop which would be a real shame.

The Guide shop opens every Saturday morning at our city centre HQ. You can have a browse or pre-order badges, merchandise and resources. We also have girl and leader uniform with the option to try on. All profits go to our division, allowing us to provide grants and keep your subscription costs low.

The shop is not particularly busy so it’s a nice opportunity to have a chat to fellow volunteers and maybe take along a craft project to do in the quiet times! Some shop volunteers work in a pair with someone from their unit and use the time to plan unit activities.
