Guides and Brownies took to the streets of Bath as part of the Bath carnival. They waved and danced their way around for 2 hours dressed as bees, with crowds cheering all the way.

The leaders were so proud of their enthusiasm despite what the weather threw at us – heat, humidity and heavy rain!

A special thanks to leaders Jess, Georgina, Kim, Holly, Laura and our parent helpers for making sure the girls were safe and happy. We were also very grateful to the festival organisers and artists.

This was the first time we’ve taken part in the carnival. We’re hoping to return next year with more girls taking part on the day and in community outreach activities in the months before.
