Guides from 18th, 31st and 39th Guides had an amazing time at the Strategy event. The event took place over 300 acres of park land where 30 bases were set up for them to navigate around. Each base had a points value. Challenges varied from climbing wall, inflatable assault courses, pioneering, nail painting and balloon volleyball!
The teams with the highest points won prizes.
The Sunday was a fayre that offered more fun and challenge like inflatable axe throwing, football and a craft tent making bead lizards and macrame. The event was for Guides and Scouts from across the country.
In the evening there was entertainment with Discos and a very busy cafe!
The Guides and Leaders had a fantastic time. For many Guides it was their first camp so they also learnt how to pitch a tent.
There is a sister event for Brownies and Cubs called Evolution- so it presents a new opportunity for many.
The question is, are you up for the strategy challenge in 2023?
