Social Distancing Update

There has been a change to the social distancing guidelines for unit meetings in England from 2 metres to 1 metre.

You can find out more and download updated risk assessment templates for outdoor and indoor face-to-face meetings from the Girlguiding COVID19 support page.

The risk assessment templates include lots of useful suggested measures to make planning your return to face-to-face guiding as easy as possible. They also make it a lot easier for your District Commissioner to see who will be responsible for first aid and safe space and check that everyone on your volunteer team has the right qualifications.

The COVID19 support page also has details of the updated Going Away Residential guidelines – for those of you looking further ahead!
