Transitioning to the New Programme with the Bath Guide Shop

by | Aug 16, 2018

We hope you are all enjoying your new programme packs, courtesy of Somerset North County following a generous bequest from Betty Charters.

As you plan your unit’s transition to the new programme, here are some of the ways the Bath Guide Shop can help you this autumn:

Pre-Order New Handbooks and Badge Books

The shop has a stock of the new handbooks and badge books, however it would be very useful for leaders to pre-order them to help us ensure we have enough stock for the start of term. Please email to pre-order any materials that you need.

Outgoing Programme Resources

Resources and badges linked to the retiring programme can still be bought from the Bath Guide Shop but this will need to be on a ‘to order only’ basis in order to avoid the Division losing money on unwanted items. If you need any badges or old programme materials, please email to check if any are in stock and to order what you need.

We will be continuing our badge sale system during the autumn term, so if you have any badges from the old programme that you no longer need, please contact the shop to arrange this by end of September.

Shop Loyalty Scheme

27 Bath units benefited from the Bath Guide Shop loyalty scheme last year. Over all we paid out £806, with one unit receiving £64. We plan to continue with this next year and therefore please encourage parents to use the shop whenever possible (and ask them to mention your unit name when they buy anything so that our volunteers can record the sale!). If a unit has three or more new starters at the same time, units can arrange for the shop to visit the unit to sell uniform. Please email to arrange a visit from the shop.
