Girlguiding Family Fun Day: Help us make it a success
Final preparations are underway for our Girlguiding Family Fun Day at Bath City Farm this Saturday (14th July).
This will be a great opportunity to promote Girlguiding to families in Bath and hopefully recruit lots of girls and new volunteers. However, to make it a success, we need your help:
1. Email a reminder to your girls
You should have received leaflets to hand out to your girls in the last few weeks to promote the event. However, if you have time to send a quick email reminder this week, here is some wording you can copy and paste:
As the summer term draws to a close, we have a great opportunity to get together with Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members at our Girlguiding Family Fun Day this Saturday.
Your daughter should have brought home a leaflet about this already, but just in case you missed it, we invite you to come to Bath City Farm between 11am – 3pm on Saturday 14th July. There will be lots of activities to try, including making slime, experimenting with electronics, launching bottle rockets, outdoor cooking, circus skills and more. There will also be a BBQ, book swap, and of course some campfire singing!
We would love the girls to come in their uniform, but the event is open for family and friends to join in, and is completely free!
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
2. Help on the day
We are still looking for a few more volunteers on the day, so if you are able to come along and help – even if only for an hour – we would be enormously grateful.
We are particularly looking for people to help us with managing the parking, so if you have a partner or friend with skills in that area, please do let us know.
3. Keep an eye on GO
We will be signing people up on GO during the day, so watch out for any new enquiries that may come through in the immediate aftermath of the event. Please give any new enquiries a really warm welcome as quickly as you can.
