Girlguiding recommend that all leaders, assistant leaders and leaders in training complete level 3, but it’s not a mandatory requirement. If you’re working on the leader development programme, you’ll need to have level 3 to have the role of leader added. Each unit must have at least 1 leader with level 3 at their meetings.
