Girlguiding recommend that all leaders, assistant leaders and leaders in training complete level 3, but it’s not a mandatory requirement. If you’re working on the leader development programme, you’ll need to have level 3 to have the role of leader added.
Each unit must have at least 1 leader with level 3 at their meetings. It’s recommended that as many leaders in that unit do the course, so that they’re covered if the leader with level 3 can’t make the meeting.

What to do if someone tells you about a concern, allegation or disclosure.
How to recognise there is a concern.
How you can support and help someone tell their story safely.
How to take action and with whom.
Where to get help.
There is also some useful advice about how to complete risk assessments.
