Somermead is a residential facility in Wedmore (near Cheddar) which is jointly owned by Girlguiding Somerset North and Girlguiding Somerset. It offers opportunities for camping across three sites and indoor stays in the Lodge.

Last year whilst re-decoration work was taking place on the Lodge, it was discovered that the foundations of the building were suffering from damp and rot. This means that substantial repairs are required before the Lodge can be brought back into use.

As there is uncertainty around the future of the Lodge at Somermead, it would help all of us involved with the decisions that need to be made, if you could please spare a few minutes to complete a survey about the site.  You do not need to have visited Somermead to give your views.
