Preparing your end of year accounts

We know that preparing your unit’s end-of-year accounts is one of those tasks that few of us look forward to with any degree of enthusiasm.  However, there is lots of useful advice and templates to help you prepare your end of year accounts at the Girlguiding website. If you are preparing unit accounts for the first time – or even if you are a seasoned pro – we recommend checking the guidance below for useful tips about what is expected.

If you are struggling to find someone to act as your independent verifier this year, please contact your District Commissioner as soon as possible. We have volunteers who are able to act as verifiers for you, and can suggest ways to pass on your accounts for review in a COVID-safe way.

If you don’t know where to start or find the whole task completely overwhelming, please do not suffer in silence.  Come along to our Division Air and Share on Wednesday, or contact your District Commissioner for advice.
