Girlguiding Bath will once again be volunteering with the Bath Half marathon on Sunday 15th March.

We will be at the goody bag station, congratulating finishers handing them a medal, t-shirt and some goodies. It is a great opportunity for the girls to be part of such a huge event with a great atmosphere. Girlguiding Bath also receive a donation for our volunteering, and we will be passing this on to units depending on how many girls and leaders volunteer from that unit.

It will be a fun day, staring at 8:45 so that we are set up in time before the fun run and finishing about 3pm for the end of the half marathon.

If you are a Guide or Ranger leader, please send out information to your girls and encourage them to sign up.

If you are a Rainbow or Brownie leader, please make sure any Young Leaders in your unit know about this opportunity.

We also need adults to come and help out and make sure the girls are safe and happy. Leaders – if you can, please volunteer! We are happy to welcome parents as well.
