If you are aged 16-25 you can work towards the highest award in Guiding, the Queen’s Guide Award. You have three years to complete it from the start date or before your 26th Birthday, whichever is sooner.
Why should I choose the Queen’s Guide Award?
The key features of the Queen’s Guide Award are::
- It allows you to challenge yourself, try something new, meet different people and have lots of fun!
- It is very flexible and you can tailor it to your strengths and interests.
- It is recognised by employers and universities so add it to your CV.
- You can complete it alongside your Gold Duke of Edinburgh, as some elements count for both!
There are five elements to the Queen’s Guide Award:
- Service in Guiding
- Outdoor Challenge
- Personal Development
- Community Action
