Be Prepared is a Youth Resilience Programme aimed at Guides and Scouts. Hosted at Cleeve Hill Campsite, Be Prepared is open to any Scout Troops or Guide Units from across the UK who would like to attend. They must survive the aftermath of an earthquake by working with their ‘family’ to complete various challenges. The ‘families’ are made up of Guides from different units in order to challenge them more.

Run entirely by a team of volunteers, the events aim to provide young people with an opportunity to develop and improve their resilience as well as practising their teamwork, leadership and decision making skills and learning some basic first aid. It’s also a great opportunity for the participants to have a fun day out and make some new friends.
