1st Bath (St Luke’s) Brownies enjoyed a Pack Holiday at Maud Heath Guide Centre over the October half term.

The girls chose nocturnal animals as their theme and took part in a wide range of themed activities, including a night walk, bat watching, modelling with shaving foam and lots of cooking.

The girls all got to help in the kitchen, where their leaders helped them to prepare bat cakes, worm sundaes, baked hedgehogs, cinnamon snails and spider soup.

Many of the girls had never stayed away from home before, so two nights away together on Pack Holiday was a real adventure!
